The Equal Opportunity Cell of Swarnamoyee Jogendranath Mahavidyalaya has been functioning effectively and satisfactorily to date in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Cell is committed to ensuring equal opportunities, social inclusion, and a fair and non-discriminatory academic environment for all students and staff, irrespective of their social, economic, or other backgrounds. It undertakes its activities and responsibilities in conformity with the provisions and objectives laid down by the UGC. The functioning of the Cell is periodically reviewed to ensure adherence to the prescribed norms and to promote an inclusive and equitable institutional environment. The Cell meets at least twice in a year and  review the action taken on the matters received in the previous 6 months, including the matters referred by it to other committees.
