Swarnamoyee Jogendranath Mahavidyalaya, a Govt. Aided General Degree College came into existence with the approval of the Higher Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, in the year 2014. The institution began its journey on 30th January, 2015 after receiving affiliation from Vidyasagar University. With more than 14 subjects of study, the college offers a vibrant and engaging environment to learn and grow through education and various other activities. The permanent affiliation to the college has been extended from the academic session 2025-2026 and the matter was ratified by the Tenth Executive Council of Vidyasagar University.
